Hello students and parents. My name is Sharon Mitchell. I am beginning my 23rd year at Hooks Elementary School and my 27th year in education. As you can guess from my long career in education, I love kids and I love to teach! I'm excited about teaching 3rd grade this year and the wonderful opportunity I have to work with each and every student in my homeroom class, as well as Mrs. Grayson's homeroom class. We are going to have a super year improving our reading and writing skills and learning about our country, state, and city in social studies.
