Hi! I am Libby Millward and I teach Sophomore English. This is my first year at Hooks High School, so I would like to share with you some information about me. I have taught for twelve years. Some of the grades and subjects I taught include: tenth, eleventh and twelfth grade English, AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature, drama and oral communications. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Specialization in English from Texas A & M. I obtained a Master's in Secondary Education, in 1999, from Southern Arkansas University. I consider myself a life long learner and will probably be in school my entire life.
We've got quite a year ahead of us. Language Arts, of course, will focus on writing, grammar, and developing higher level thinking skills through response to more advanced reading. All around, it will be a year of great growth and discovery for all involved. I look forward to an exciting and rewarding year working with you! |
