I teach the 4th Grade English classes at Hooks Elementary. In my classes, we learn to write great compositions. That means we also cover other areas such as grammar, spelling, and handwriting. I begin each year letting them know that they are all writers. Some just don't realize how great it feels to compose. They soon discover the power it brings to them. Writing...it both creates and releases memories. What a great thing to teach!
